The1st Fernhill Venturer Unit was started some 40 years ago and ceased to exist in 1974 until revived in 1991. The unit has had 11 Queen Scouts and this number is growing each year. Since the amalgamation of the 1st Fernhill Group and the 1st Corrimal Group the Unit has changed its name to 1st Korrahill Venturer Unit.
Current membership is at 18 registered Venturers these members enjoy a wide range of activities on a regular basis which include: Abseiling, Caving, Bushwalking, Canyoning and Canoeing to a lesser extent.
The unit council consists of the following positions followed by the current serving Venturer.
The Unit Council meets once a month to assess the way in which the unit is running and to make decisions on the direction of the unit. The Unit Council consists of the above members and the Unit Leaders.
