GENERAL RULES TO BE FOLLOWED BY ALL RANGERS

1. Band Music is not to be played if it will cause a nuisance.

2. Boating (Junior Rangers not to be involved with this)

bulletNo boating is allowed unless authorised by Coordinator.
bulletIf authorised, it must be controlled by an appointed adult.
bulletBoat must be registered. It must not be overloaded and each person must have an approved Life Jacket.
bulletRangers must be able to swim 50 meters.
bulletThese Rules do not cover public transport.

3. Bathing/Swimming

bulletNo bathing or swimming unless authorised by Coordinator.
bulletIf authorised, it must be controlled by an appointed adult.
bulletFor safety -- (2) Life Guards must be on duty while Swimming takes place.

4. Camping

bulletSenior Rangers are not allowed to camp in same area as Junior Rangers.
bulletThe Coordinator must give permission for all camping activities.
bulletAll Fire Restrictions must be followed.
bulletFirst Aid Kit(s) required at each camp site.
bulletGroup Supervisors to be appointed by Coordinator.
bulletSeparate sleeping bags/blankets for each Ranger.
bulletNo "camp raiding" and other forms of mischief allowed.
bulletAll security, safety and communications rules must be followed.
bulletStrict health and sanitation rules must be enforced.
bulletGirls and boys must sleep in separate tent/accommodations, etc.

5. Social Values

bulletWith a mixed group of boys and girls -- strict control must be maintained.
bulletNo teasing, bad language or bad example. Good decorum, self-discipline
bulletand a high moral tone to be maintained.
bulletNo pairing off. The protection and integrity of all the youth must be safeguarded. All Rangers are entrusted to the care of the Rangers Organisation.

6. Modesty

bulletCare must be taken to ensure the modesty and values of all Rangers is upheld.
bulletSeparate toilets and separate ablution areas; separate change areas and sleeping areas must be maintained.
bulletWilful Infringement of the General Rules in a serious matter can lead to expulsion from the Rangers.
