Guido W. Colla Taylor’s Rd, Meredith Vic. 3001 24-10-2001 Bishop Dennis Hart Re: Refusal of Communion. Day 7. Still no reply. Your Eminence, I am still awaiting your reply my Bishop. Why do you not reply? What is the agenda here? Do I have leprosy? What is so hard about picking up the phone to say to me Guido I have made a mistake? Maybe you do not see a mistake, if so why do you not read the book of the law? Why do you not uphold the laws that you are charged to uphold? Do you not represent Christ in the diocese of Melbourne? Would Jesus not uphold one of his little lambs? At the moment I feel like little David from the Old Testament, you know the one, the little peasant farmer. I feel like I am facing the giant Goliath. Giant Goliath in this case is represented by the church, in all it’s hierarchical structures. There is deafening silence from every direction. No-one wants to know me, after all I am only a farmer from a tiny little town that no-one has every heard of, what can I do? Nothing. Nothing. Nothing. I am a powerless little man. God however has all the power and he can direct a tiny little pebble, as did David in the Bible. He can direct it so as to strike that prideful colossus and make it crumble and fall to the ground. The God-Man Jesus accused the Pharisees and hypocrites of his day and he warned them that he could destroy the Temple and rebuild it again in three days. They would not listen, their pride and arrogance was supreme. They thought themselves untouchable. They had their power structure all in place, and their dishonesty was rampant. They plotted to kill him. Kill him they did and in the most terrible and extreme way on a wooden Cross. That was the end of this little upstart, this man from nowhere. Nazareth did you say? Death was not the end. There was after three days the Resurrection. Just as he had foretold, the structure of the old Temple was destroyed. The Pharisees, the scribes, the priests, all of them were out of a job. The Jewish religion was replaced overnight by the Christian religion. They remained in their false church, just as prideful men will remain in falsity and pride and serve the anti Christ of the future. There remains the story of that little stone or pebble that David of old hurled with his catapult to kill the giant in one blow. It hit him directly in the forehead and killed him outright, and he cut of his head. The little pebble that will kill the Catholic Church of today was catapulted many years ago. It was during the middle sixties that Communion in the hand was introduced in defiance of the law that governs the Church. It has become so common and so ordinary that hardly anyone remembers whom it is that they are receiving. Just like in the desert where God fed his people with manna, they got tired with their food, so too are people today tired of their spiritual food and regard it as humdrum, when in actuality it is the very Body Soul and Divinity of Christ. It is the greatest of all treasures that surpasses all understanding. The Angels of heaven fall prostrate at His presence. In the Old Testament, God killed a man instantly, only for touching the Ark of the Covenant. The Ark held the tablets of the Ten Commandments. Most of the Church has been walking in a spiritual dessert for almost forty years. They have forgotten who is their God. They have come to adore today’s false Gods. The God of today is the idol of sport, the idol of perversion and promiscuity. They have come to kill their own children in abortion. They adore the idol of drugs and alcohol and gambling. Many live in unmarried relationships. Many do not honour their parents. Stealing of time from a boss is not even known as stealing. The list goes on and on. They are quite unaware that they have killed, that which is to live for eternity. They have forgotten their soul and their eternal destiny. Man has forgotten that they are creatures. Creatures, who were made to know, love and serve their God. Do you remember dear Bishop all the fuss and hoopla when Mr. Keating touched the queen? Mr. Keating was the prime minister of Australia, but to touch the Queen? How improper, how dare he, it is just not done is it? How much more improper, how much more daring, how utterly inexcusable is it then to touch the actual Body of Christ with un-consecrated hands. He is not only a King. HE IS THE KING. THE KING OF KINGS, THE LORD OF LORDS. It is a wonder that God has not killed men instantly as he did when people touched the Ark. My question is are these people walking corpses? Are their eternal Souls dead? Every time they touch a Consecrated Host with their hands they commit a sin. It is like scourging Our Lord all over again. Do we crown him with thorns again and do we dress him purple with our pride and arrogance? Have we no regard or respect for our God? We know from the history in the Holy Bible that very, very few people made it through the desert to reach the Promised Land. Is that to be the fate of today’s people? Won’t they learn from History? Are we too proud to acknowledge that God is God? Does Moses have to come again to break the tablets with the commandments on them? Will man continue to bring their gold to make a golden calf to idolize their consumer goods? Will man not think about eternity and the reason for his existence? You my Bishop are a prince of the church. God has raised you high. You are a successor to the Apostles and a priest in the order of Melchisedec. With your position comes responsibility. Remember our sins are not only what we do but also what we leave undone. Our sins are our also our thoughts words and deeds. But who am I to tell you? You are the Bishop; you are supposed to be telling me. I am the farmer from whoop whoop without a proper education. You however are the one to teach all these truths of God in our midst in a real and true way. You are the one that must put a stop to these sinful and sacrilegious practices. We have for many years had a sticker on our fridge in the kitchen is says simply. Heaven. Everybody wants to go there but no one wants to buy a ticket! The ticket is obeying the commandments. Living in virtue. Being just too all men. Forgetting pride and being obedient to your lawful superiors, and especially for you because of your position, you as pastor must teach. Your duty calls! I will continue to pray for Gods grace for you and all priests. Guido Colla |
