UPDATE: 26 November 2001 (pdf version)FROM: Mr. Glenn TalaueTO: Email to ALLIANCE OF TRUTH Discussion Group List (moderated by Mr. Glenn Talaue and Fr. Malcolm Broussard). A pdf version of this update is available -- here.SUBJECT: Refusal of our Parish Priest to give Holy Communion to the members of the Community of the Precious Blood
Dear AOT,
Greetings.
From my last e-mail regarding the
situation with our parish priest, there has been various responses coming
from the clergy regarding our concerns. The update reflects their letters
and our responses. I have placed the latest updates at Page One and onwards.
The situation is still not good. The
local priest has allowed us Holy Communion once again. Sadly only because of
pressure from his bishop. The bishop acted after we had sent roughly 30
faxes of all our correspondences to various contacts including himself. He
was the first to receive all correspondences and we delayed in sending to
others until the situation became unbearable.
The letter from the Nuncio and the 7
November letter from the Archbishop of Melbourne says it is better we kept
quite. The Archbishop said to refrain from commenting about our parish
priest and the dress and actions of others in our parish. From our point of
view, in other words - shut up!
I now send this to you. If you feel
strongly as we do, think as we do, I appeal to you to please join us
and write to our local bishop.
Send
us a copy of what you wrote so we can record it.

I
will be doing a follow up of my letter to Archbishop Bertone in a few days.
After such a time I will renew my cc to various contacts within the Curia
and other sources which I have already provided in the previous file sent to
you and again here in this updated attachment.
I
have sent this to the local archbishop too, and let us hope and pray he
listens to our concerns.
God
bless,
Glenn
Talaue
