OUR LOCAL PARISH ...

ISSUE: Meredith Local Parish Priest re-arranges Pews; refuses Holy Communion.

SUMMARY: For some years now since the local parish priest, Fr. John Haines, has become hostile to anyone even slightly associated with the Little Pebble and of the new form of Consecrated Life founded by the Little Pebble. Fr. Haines has concluded his focus on the Colla family based in Meredith in a biased manner. The Colla's -- faithful adherents of the Order and true friends of the Little Pebble, are regular church-goers in the Lethbridge and Meredith Churches of which Fr. Haines is Parish Priest.

Guido, Superior of the Precious Blood Community, along with the members of the same community, friends of the community, and co-workers of the businesses of the community, have taken more active roles in bringing Orthodoxy back to the Church through the local Parish.

This is the on-going battle to maintain Orthodoxy. In the process, we have come to learn who is friend within the clergy and who supports the sweeping modern changes.

STATEMENT ON THIS MATTER - FROM THE MAJOR SUPERIOR OF THE ORDER OF SAINT CHARBEL
