Committal Hearing -
Magistrate's Decision 24 November 2003 (Nowra): Today, the Little Pebble went to Court in Nowra for the decision of the Magistrate regarding the Committal Proceedings initiated last August. The Magistrate made his decision that the matter should proceed to a Jury Trial. Therefore, the next arraignment is set for 2 February 2004 in Wollongong. Today, the local Media were also present and will undoubtedly be presenting their report of the Magistrate's decision in the local Newspapers. We will publish the links to these Newspapers as soon as they go to print so that you can read their accounts.
The Barrister for the Little Pebble does not permit us to speak about the defence of the Little Pebble. This will all come out at the appropriate time and in the appropriate way as everything develops and the Barrister and Solicitors for the Little Pebble proceed with the case. The Little Pebble has suffered much over these many months as his case continues to be drawn out. He has a deep and strong faith in God and has fully embraced God's Will. God's Divine Providence is fully in control of this matter. Please continue to pray for the great Victory that Jesus and Mary have promised to him and to all of us. We are all in good spirits because this Victory is assured, but we have only to continue carrying the Cross. If possible, we will keep you posted as things develop. May Jesus and Mary Bless all who read these lines and may God's Spirit enlighten the hearts and minds of those responsible for truth and justice. +Bishop Malcolm L. Broussard, Jr. |
