ETHICS IN
JOURNALISM Over many years now the Little Pebble has reported on the unethical methods and biased reporting which has flavored every TV broadcast -- dedicated to "exposing" the Little Pebble. It is important that the viewers of this website see the confirmation of what the Little Pebble has been saying for so long. The following article was published by THE DAILY TELEGRAPH on Wednesday, November 6, 2002 on page 22. It is written by Mark Phillips. The article is based upon the Australian Broadcasting Authority's annual report for 2001-2. It goes a long way in highlighting the complaints -- like "invading privacy with hidden cameras and microphones, unfairly representing viewpoints, inaccuracy and failing to correct errors." I have scanned this article and provide it here for your viewing. It is interesting that the two main TV programs singled out are: "A CURRENT AFFAIR" and "60 MINUTES". For those who know the history of this Mission -- these TV Programs have significantly influenced public opinion. Please read this article.
