CONFERENCES OF THE LITTLE PEBBLE
This page will present various talks addressed to
the wider public as well as talks to specific groups and to members of the Order
of Saint Charbel.
From time to time, the Little Pebble gives talks to
the members of the Community of Gethsemane. I have included some of his major
talks on this page. These usually deal with specific issues or themes
appropriate to the moment. There is always the need to practice Christian virtue
in the context of Religious Life. The Order of Saint Charbel is for the Family,
thus it deals with the normal growing pains of family life involving children.
The concept of the "extended family" is central to a deeper
understanding of the interaction of the members in their daily work, prayer and
recreation together. All of the social virtues come into play.
Sometimes the themes are corrective by purpose, but
always serving to edify the Community -- to re-focus on the bigger picture of
our lives in the Order of Saint Charbel.
The following Talks are certainly inspiring and
reflect the great spiritual patrimony of our Catholic Faith.
