It is nice to be affirmed by persons in high positions of leadership in the
greater community at large. Whether these officials be concerned with civil
affairs or the religious hierarchy -- it is always appreciated.
The following letter was received by the Little Pebble after the visit to our
Community of our local Federal Member of Parliament -- Mrs. Joanna Gash, MP and
her Media & Policy Advisor, Mrs. Lexie Meyer. They spent several hours with
us on the property. The visitation included a visit to the main Office of the
Little Pebble with greetings and introductions to the staff. Explanations were
given on the basic nature and purpose of our apostolate. Mrs. Gash and Mrs.
Meyer were introduced to our Saint Joseph's School staff and invited to visit
the classrooms and school facilities. The teaching staff interacted with many
questions and answers on the overall of scope of Saint Joseph's School.
Our beautiful Chapel was the next visiting place with brief explanations about
the side Altars. Finally Mrs.Gash and Mrs. Meyer were invited to have dinner
with our families in the Community dining room. This nice letter expresses their
appreciation.

Dear William Kamm,
Thank you for allowing Lexie and me to visit your community last monday and to
share dinner -- that was a surprise and gratefully received. Both of us
enjoyed meeting and talking with your people and I wish you and them well and
assure you that as your local Federal Member, if there is something I can do
to assist you more, be it local, State or Federal, you need only call.
It is often difficult to put into words how one feels or reacts to various
comments made. I have always been of the belief "do unto others as they
would do to you".
Whilst I may not agree with all the extras that you sent me, you nonetheless
have every right to express them, providing of course that they do not (in my
opinion) adversely offend or disturb others who may not be of the same belief
or opinion.
As you say, there is a lot to be done. I will have a word to our Mayor Greg
Watson to see where the Council is at regarding your future development.
However, I must also say it seems to be a very happy community, one that
prides itself on living a Christian life.
Enclosed is a small cheque to help offset the cost of our meals.
Kind regards,
