PUBLIC STATEMENT July 26, 2005 from Mother Maria
Charbel (Mother Superior) TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN May Our Lord grant mercy upon those who continue to persecute The Little Pebble; for their hearts are closed to the truth! It has been approximately 21 years since I have become acquainted with William - "The Little Pebble". I have followed with open discerning heart the revelations given by Heaven through him. William was given as part of his mission the overwhelming task of founding a new Order for Holy Mother Church, which he has done. I have remained in this Order since its foundation and have struggled on a much smaller scale than the Little Pebble, with persecution, prejudice, loss of friends and family due to this decision. Even in the early years of the Order's formation many members throughout various parts of the globe were refused their sacramental rights by the clergy because of our affiliation with William and Heavens messages. We too have been labelled with the words "cult" and "sect" in a very derogatory way. It appears that the secular world today has zero tolerance with those who practice the faith. If our actions are not coated with much of the flavour of the world, then we are considered fanatics. Today's laws permit abortion, same-sex marriage, euthanasia, etc, and yet the media must hound and prejudge an innocent who has only been kind to those who have betrayed him. I am privileged to be a member of the Order of Saint Charbel. I have made my final profession as a religious Sister of the Order in Canada. The Little Pebble is a very gentle man whose presence exudes kindness, compassion, integrity and peace. He is wrongfully accused. The guilty verdict is unjust! I pray for the success of his appeal and the truth to be revealed by his accusers. Most people have no idea that the Orders within the Catholic Church must first exist and live out the rule before they are able to receive approval/recognition from the Church. Naturally with the Order of Saint Charbel being so constantly attacked and persecuted, ie. our founder, the Little Pebble, then of course it is even more of a struggle for us to exist, holding almost no credibility in the eyes of both our beloved Church, or the world. But this in itself is one of the very positive good fruits of the Order. Through all of this, we are still here by the grace of God. The glorious day will come when Our Lady's victory will be known throughout the world with not only the full vindication of William but also the full approval of the Order of Saint Charbel.
