Lessons from Jesus
January 5 - 16, 2001
The following teachings were given by
Our Lord. The occasion was a private Retreat at the Holy Ghost Community in
Queensland, Australia. Most of the Religious Sisters of the Community of
Gethsemane were present as well as a few families from the same Community. It
was a very edifying experience in which all came away with a deeper realisation
of the need to live the virtues which promote the spiritual well-being of the
entire Community. The
basic theme for this Retreat was:
"We are one Family of God in the
Order of Saint Charbel"
A Sister, and privileged soul (in the
Community of Gethsemane) known
and addressed by God as "Golden Rod" received many private revelations
from Heaven which actually directed the Retreat. Another Sister, also a Seer
known as "Little Grain" of our Community received a direction
as well. By this means a series of
talks were given by Our Lord on the following themes:

This Retreat is remarkable in that it
gives a good insight into the ideals of the Order of Saint Charbel, as Our Lord
would have it lived. I think the reader will get a good overview of the
"heights" of virtue that God desires of all His children. Here we have
really profound spiritual direction for all members of the Order of Saint
Charbel.
