Special Devotions embraced by the Order of Saint CharbelThe Daily Community Prayer IntentionsThe Community Prayers of the Order of Saint Charbel are designed to assist the members to dedicate themselves to:
Each Community follows this same dedication, which is already laid out in the Community Prayer Book, Adoration of the Most Blessed SacramentBesides the Holy Mass offered each day for the members to attend. The Order values highly the adoration of the Most Blessed Sacrament of Christ. This is a daily part of each members devotion to Christ, the Saviour. The members are rostered on a schedule of times to be in the Chapel for their adoration period. Eventually, the Order sees perpetual adoration -- 24 hours a day -- as a goal of every Community. Devotion to the Immaculate Heart of MaryThe individual consecration of each member to the Immaculate Heart of Mary is part of the charism of the Order of Saint Charbel. The formula is that of Saint Louis Marie de Montfort as explained so well in his major work -- True Devotion to Mary. Each day at the Community Midday Prayers, this Consecration is renewed by the members. Devotion to the Holy AngelsLove and devotion to the Guardian Angel, as well as all of the Angels is a daily part of life. The members renew this consecration each morning during the Community Morning Prayers. The Mother of God has revealed on so many occasions that the Angel's are God's Helpers, and that we owe them obedience as well -- because the inspirations of God come through them to us. The Angel's love all God's children very much. They are also our Protectors. Devotion to Saint Michael the Archangel holds a central place in the life of the members. Devotion to the Holy Souls in PurgatoryThe Mother of God has exhorted Her children on countless occasions to pray for the faithful departed and not forget them. Just a couple of Messages will highlight this fact: MESSAGE
