Shortly after arriving at the drop zone you will be introduced to your tandem master and camera flyer for your once in a lifetime thrill. Fill out some necessary paper work go through a rehersal and then board the plane. The plane ride will take about 20 minutes to get to height. Were you will be able to take in all the scenic views that Jervis Bay and the beautiful natural surrounds offer before the door opens and out you leap!!!
Your free fall will last up to 40 seconds and then your tandem master will deploy the parachute allowing you to take in the surrounds and even fly the parachute yourself! Approximately 5 minutes later you will arrive back on firm ground, receive a colour certificate to commemorate your achievement and watch it all over again with the footage captured by your camera flyer.

There are a few things that you should consider if you are thinking about getting your jump filmed at other drop zones.
1.) Are you provided with an outside camera flyer? Here at SDN we believe the best product will always be produced from an outside camera flyer. In most cases these experienced skydivers have poured thousands of dollars into their equipment and training to deliver you " The Money Shot". Other drop zones may film your jump using a camera mounted to the tandem masters wrist. The footage off these is usually sub-standard to capture something that you will treasure for life, it may even be SIDEWAYS when it plays on your TV !
2.)"REAL" Stills photography : (when requested) Here at SDN we offer real stills photography, something that other drop zones dont, just to save money. Our camera flyer's jump with SLR cameras mounted to their helmets in most cases digital cameras that have cost thousands of dollars to deliver you with the highest quality images around. Images that you can enlarge up to A3 size, which can take pride of place in your house which is a far cry from the 1 mega -pixel screen shots off a handi cams some drop zones offer you.
3.)A fully produced VHS or DVD : Here at SDN our camera flyers will take the time to fully capture and produce your VHS tape or DVD. We will take the time to film you getting ground trained, rigged up, the plane ride to height, the jump, your landing and even a post landing interview (something that a lot of DZ's are just too busy to care about). Once we are on the ground your camera flyer will take the time to edit the footage they have captured and place music, special effects, titles and more onto your VHS or DVD so the end product is something you can treasure. Not just a slow motion jump with music over the top like some drop zones offer.
