About Us
 

The Shoalhaven Woodcraft Society was formed in 1987 and is comprised of persons interested in understanding woodcraft, and developing skills in its many and diverse forms.

The aims of the Society are:
· Foster an understanding and appreciation of woodcraft
· Provide a mutual advice, help and problem solving forum
· Collaborate with other crafts in the Shoalhaven
· Involve the families of woodworkers in social activities

The Society has also contributed to community life through tree planting projects 
assistance to the needy  support to development of arts and crafts 
and development of skills in the young. 

The Society has a monthly general meeting on the
Third Wednesday at Nowra  High School at 0730 p.m.
In the woodwork classrooms.
Visitors are always welcome
 

We also have a monthly Committee meeting (First Wednesday).
 

Annual membership fee for individuals or families 
($25.00 payable by July.)
Annual General Meeting is held on the 3rd Wednesday in July

There is generally also an annual exhibition currently called Creative Moments which was held in 2007 in Shoalhaven Arts Centre, Berry Street Nowra, in collaboration with Shoalhaven Potters and Nowra Spinners and Weavers.
